As part of the Erasmus+ program “www.emates.eu,” the Vardakeios School developed the module “Navigating Job Search Platforms,” which is part of a training manual designed to help adult learners with a migrant background develop the language and digital skills needed to search for jobs online.
This module introduces learners to basic job search processes, such as exploring online job platforms, understanding job postings, creating professional profiles, posting resumes, filling out online applications, and communicating with employers.
The learning activities are tailored to levels A1, A2, and B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), combining practical language learning with digital tasks related to everyday life.
In addition to supporting students, the module provides teachers with lesson plans, classroom activities, and assessment tools that facilitate the integration of digital skills into language instruction.
The eMATES project is co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program and brings together partners committed to empowering adult learners through language learning and digital inclusion.
