The piloting phase of the eMATES project educational materials is underway at the Vardakeios School in Ermoupolis, with the participation of migrant trainees who are testing the activities and modules that have been developed in practice. The EMATES project aims to strengthen basic language and digital skills, linking learning to real needs of everyday life and the labor market.
So far, participants have dealt with topics such as job searching on online platforms, understanding advertisements, as well as communicating with services and employers. Through practical activities, they have strengthened their comprehension, oral communication and written expression skills, gaining greater confidence in using the language in everyday and professional environments.
The workshop marks an important stage in the evaluation of the educational material. The feedback gathered will contribute substantially to the improvement and adaptation of the material to the needs of the learners.
